Who we are, what we do, and why it matters

Did you know that northwest Arkansas has its very own team of Ghostbusters? That’s right! We are the NWA Ghostbusters, a team of dedicated Ghostbusters enthusiasts who bring the spirit of our favorite spectre-hunting heroes from the silver screen into the real world. Our group is composed of passionate fans, builders, artists, and performers.

At our core, we’re more than just movie lovers in beige jumpsuits. We’re a volunteer driven team with one mission: to make a positive impact through the power of nostalgia and the joy of the fandom. Whether you’re attending comic cons, school events, hospital visits, or local festivals, we show up with full gear, big hearts, and a whole lot of supernatural fun.

When busting ghosts isn’t necessary, we channel our energy into something just as powerful: giving back to our community. We use our talents to support meaningful causes. With each event we either attend or host, we partner with a charity whose mission we believe in, and help support them using our appearances to help raise funds, awareness, and smiles. From custom merchandise and photo ops to interactive prop displays, we turn every event into an opportunity to give back.
